Apologetic Post, Jesus Christ, Religious Doctrines

Christ will not die until he return and rule in his kingdom

In the Name of Allah Most Gracious Most Beneficent

Apart from the Holy Quran , the Bible also says that Jesus will not die until he take rule of this world on the Throne of Prophet David (Peace be upon them)

Quran 4:157  And [for] their saying, “Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah.” And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain,

Quran 4:158 Rather, Allah raised him to Himself. And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise.

John 8: NiV Dispute Over Who Jesus Is

21 Once more Jesus said to them, “I am going away, and you will look for me, and you will die in your sin. Where I go, you cannot come.”

22 This made the Jews ask, “Will he kill himself? Is that why he says, ‘Where I go, you cannot come’?”

23 But he continued, “You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.

(Christians cherry pick this verse to say, Jesus is Divine, but we do see that disciples are not of this world as well, Christians follow a misguided literal understanding of the scripture!)

John 15:19 Christian Standard Bible
If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own. However, because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of it, the world hates you.

COMMENTS: The Jewish questions and reply of Christ prove that Jews will not be able to touch Christ, that angels will lift him up into the heaven, as prophesied in Psalm.

Matthew 16:38 King James Bible
Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

Christian Standard Bible
Truly I tell you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”

COMMENTS: This someone is none other than Jesus Christ (Upon him be God’s peace and blessings)

Psalm 91:9 If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”

and you make the Most High your dwelling,

10 no harm will overtake you,

no disaster will come near your tent.

11 For he will command his angels concerning you

to guard you in all your ways;

12 they will lift you up in their hands,

so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.

13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra;

you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

14 “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;

I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.

15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;

I will be with him in trouble,

I will deliver him and honor him.

16 With long life I will satisfy him

and show him my salvation

John 3: 13 No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven—the Son of Man.

14 Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up,

15 that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.”

COMMENTS: John 3 speaking about the angels lifting up jesus Christ to the heavens. Christian missionaries cherry pick just the 14th verse and say it is about jesus being lifted up on the cross. But look at the context and see the school level knowledge of the missionary to establish doctrines of crucifixion!

2 Chronicle 6:42 Christian Standard Bible  LORD God, do not reject your anointed one; remember the promises to your servant David.

Acts 13:34 . As God has said, “‘I will give you the holy and sure blessings promised to David
